How we work
Ashore Today rounds up the cruise industry's news every morning, for the people who work in it: at cruise lines, ports and terminals, shipyards, suppliers and travel agencies. We read widely so you don't have to.
Our own words, always credited
We write a short summary of each story in our own words and link to the original report, so the journalists and organisations who did the work get the credit and the click. We quote only a line where it helps, always with a name. We never copy whole articles or their photos.
How each edition is made
Every morning we gather the latest cruise industry stories from trade publications, news searches and industry bodies. The summaries are drafted with the help of software and every edition is checked by a person before it's published.
Neutral and fair
We report the news, not our opinions, and we're respectful of every cruise line, port and company we write about. We're independent and not connected to any cruise line.
Sponsors and links
Each edition may carry one sponsor, always marked “Sponsored”. Some links may be affiliate links, which are always labelled.
